Changed to a photo that is entirely more representative of me

Timothy Sean Patrick Sweeney (call me Tim…please) is a public servant and freelance writer from Sydney, Australia who absolutely hates talking about himself in the third person.

So he…I… won’t.

I have a Diploma and a Certificate IV in Communications and Media, and half a Certificate III in News Media (long story), and will be pursuing a BA in Comms when I get the time.

I’ve been writing fiction and non-fiction for as long as I can remember, and have always had a love for the written word. When not composing bad poetry or beginning the next great epic novel for the millionth time, I enjoy gaming, reading, music, movies, failing to learn to play the guitar, and occasionally venturing outside. I even find time to spend with my wonderful fiancee Sam(antha), who somehow manages to put up with me.

My particular fictional vices are Fantasy and Science Fiction, although I’ll read anything from Bernard Cornwell to William Shakespeare if the story is good. I am currently writing quite a bit of fiction set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, with the aim of hopefully getting a short story and/or novel published with the Black Library. I am also playing with my own unique works which I hope to be doing something with soon.
